Your Notebook
What is the difference between embroidery, batik and tie-dye?
Embroidery creates a design with needle and thread. Batik uses wax to resist dye and reveal a pattern on cloth. Tie-dye uses folds, ties or stitches to keep dye from reaching certain areas. Our collection includes these techniques alongside other fabric-covered designs; check the individual product page for the cover you are choosing.
Will my notebook look exactly like the photos?
Handworked covers may vary slightly in color, stitching, wax lines, crackle or pattern placement. These small differences are part of the process. If your notebook arrives damaged, incorrect or materially different from its description, please contact us with your order number and photos.
What sizes, paper styles and page counts do you offer?
These vary by notebook. The collection includes A5 and A6 options, with blank, lined or grid paper depending on the style. Page counts also differ, so check your chosen product and variant. Our batik hardcover notebooks measure 13 × 19 × 2.5 cm (about 5.1 × 7.5 × 1 in) and contain 130 sheets, or 260 pages.
Can I remove and reuse the cover?
Some embroidery and tie-dye notebooks have removable covers that can be reused with a suitably sized notebook. Choose a style whose product page specifically says the cover is removable. Our batik hardcover notebooks have fixed, non-removable covers.

Care & Gifting
How should I care for my notebook?
Keep the notebook dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight. Do not wash or soak it. Follow the care instructions for your particular cover; if it is removable, that does not automatically mean it is washable. Contact us if you are unsure how to clean a mark.
Does my notebook come with a gift bag?
Yes. Each notebook in our current collection includes a complimentary handmade batik or tie-dye bag. The style and pattern are selected at random and cannot be chosen.
Can you create a notebook from my own photo or idea?
Yes. Custom designs can feature people, pets, flowers or other subjects based on a photo or reference. For a complex design or a special request, contact support@hiddenindigo.com before ordering so we can confirm what is possible.

Orders & Delivery
How do I send the reference for my custom notebook?
After placing your custom order, email your photo or reference and order number to support@hiddenindigo.com. You can also message us on Instagram with those details. For complex designs, please discuss the idea with us before placing the order.
How long will my notebook take to arrive?
Ready-to-ship notebooks usually arrive in 8–12 days. Custom notebooks require 3–5 days for production, followed by 8–12 days for delivery. These are estimates, and timing can vary by destination or delays in transit. See Shipping & Delivery for details.
Where do you ship, and how much does shipping cost?
We ship to supported destinations, with availability shown at checkout. Standard shipping is free when your merchandise subtotal after discounts is US$30.60 or more; below that amount, it is US$8.88. See Shipping & Delivery for destination and delivery details.

Help & Returns
How can I get help with an order or delivery?
Email support@hiddenindigo.com with your order number and question. For a damaged or incorrect item, include clear photos of the notebook and packaging. We can help with product details, your order and delivery questions.
Can I return my notebook?
You may request a return for an eligible non-personalized notebook within 15 calendar days after delivery, subject to our Return & Refund Policy. Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns. Custom-made or personalized notebooks are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Damaged, defective, incorrect or materially misdescribed items and any applicable statutory rights remain protected. Contact us before sending a return.
