Handcrafted Indigo Batik Bags

Our batik pieces are created with hand-drawn wax-resist and indigo dyeing traditions from Guizhou, China. The exact materials and techniques for each scarf, hat, bag, or home textile are described on its product page.

Subtle variations in indigo depth, wax lines, crackle texture, pattern placement, embroidery, and measurements are signatures of handmade work. They make each piece naturally individual and are not considered defects.

Please follow the care guidance on the product page or label. In general, protect natural indigo from prolonged direct sunlight, wash only when needed in cool water with a mild detergent, avoid bleach, and air dry. Wash deep indigo separately, as slight initial color transfer can occur.

Yes. We welcome selected custom commissions for patterns, dimensions, gifts, interiors, and special projects. Email support@hiddenindigo.com with the type of piece, preferred size, intended use, quantity, and desired timing. Feasibility, price, schedule, and any custom-order return terms will be confirmed before payment. Because the work is handmade, custom production takes additional time.
